SCORE Essentials for Social Distance Learning

SAGES ABSITE Prep - Part 1 and 2

SAGES hosted a free webinar series, in partnership with SCORE, on December 20th and January 18th for surgical residents. The 2-part session was dedicated to preparing residents for the ABSITE exam and focused on a selection of high-yield questions.

"Using SCORE for ABSITE Prep"

SCORE hosted a free webinar on October 1st at 9 PM ET for surgical residents interested in learning about strategies and resources available for ABSITE prep. Two members of the SCORE Resident Advisory Group, Dr. Shanley Deal (Virginia Mason) and Dr. Christina Theodorou (UC Davis Medical Center), along with Dr. Joseph Galante (Program Director at UC Davis Medical Center) hosted the session. Best Practices for Resident Self-Study

SCORE hosted a free webinar on June 5 at 9 PM ET for incoming chief resident leaders. Two members of SCORE’s Resident Advisory Board, Dr. Tess Aulet and Dr. Paul McGaha co-hosted the session. The goal of the webinar was to share best practices for resident self-study and tips for implementation of SCORE in general surgery training programs. ABSITE Study Plan Sessions 

SCORE released the ABSITE Study Plan in 2018 and hosted three live, online webinars to help residents, administrators and program directors get up to speed with the functionality. The Study Plan enables residents to create a self-directed learning improvement plan using their 2018 ABSITE score report, with a completion date and progress report that is shared with their program director.
